Today i'm officially a graduate of the travel academy. It feels good, now i have a degree, and i can say of done something with my life. I'm happy.

I move back to omaha tomorrow (saturday) i won't get in till late so i probably won't do much then. But sunday i wanna get some phone calls, and i wanna see all of you again.

Getting close

to the end of my time here in Minnesota. And it feels good. I'll be coming back to omaha, not forever but for a good amount of time. I'm excited, I miss it.

My school sucks, my family is fucked up, I need to see my grandma, I miss Morgan, I've injured myself again, I'm close to broke, I need a job, I'm not happy with some of the people here.......

GAH FUCK! I don't like to complain, but I have no one else to vent to. At least I'm close to graduation. And i have some good things to look forward to, but they can't come any slower.

Final fantasy is calling my name.

Till the weekend. It's going to be pretty good. I can't tell you why, but chances are you won't see or hear from me.

I'm disappearing for some seriously needed time dedicated to me. :)

I'm coming to omaha soon, chances are you won't see me then either, but that's for good reason. I have to take care of some stuff and can't be distracted.

This week in a nutshell

This has been such an up and down week for me. From family troubles, to doing really well in another test, to injuring myself, to feeling alone here, to seeing friends from back home, to not knowing my situation after this school. It's been so confusing.

That describes it pretty well. It feels like a struggle.

Fuck the economy, Fuck the swine flu, and Fuck the travel academy. (all major factors in screwing me over.)

I feel like i've come here for very little pay off. I know i still have time left here, but I just want to know it was worth it. I guess time will tell.

I'm sorry, I'm upset. I'll stop there.

It's almost 2:30, i'm waiting for harlow to arrive so i can get some sleep. I have a test tomorrow, but afterwards TOP SHOP!

I'm stoked i get to see some familiar faces this weekend. Gonna kill it with the next G crew, and have a good ass time watching some awesome skateboarding, and probably a good amount of partying.

I've also applied for two airlines now, hopefully some good things happen. I'm excited to see where the sky takes me.

Yeah but anyways. Today was my first big test for the travel academy. It was over the airline codes and the 50 states.

96% FUCKIN KILLED IT! 2nd highest in the class.

I also gave a presentation on a self weakness, and when I finished the only thing my teacher could say was "wow". It felt really good.

Things are really looking up for me here. So hopefully i can stick to it.

I need to go though. I gotta make her something.

Arrival

I left this morning for minneapolis. Thank you Keith, Mandi, and Morgan: For sending me on my way and giving me sunshine today.

I arrived here around 2 o'clock to a beautiful 70 degrees. Shortly after I made my way to the travel academy where I met Kurt Armstrong (I just thought he had a badass name). He took me and my mom to my apartment where I met two of my roommates: Trevor, and Cameron, they're pretty cool cats so far. At least it looks like my living situation will be good here for the next 6 weeks, that's as long as they can fix the AC in this mug. Every floor is like being inside a mouth, muggy and disgusting. But that's what I have the outdoors for.

On monday i have a quiz over all the airline codes for every airport in the nation. As well as the abbreviations for all the states as well. It's a ridiculous amount of abbreviations that make no sense, so this should be interesting.

But i'm going to pass out considering i haven't slept in over 24 hours.

The Last Dance

Last night was my going away party. It was more than I could have asked for. The friends, the dance floor that never stopped, the 6 hour dj set, the 2 encores i played, the silly drunk people..... i could go on for a really long time.

But i want to thank everyone who came. It was such a joy and a heartbreak to see so many of my friends one last time before i leave. I will miss all of you very much. The memories and the people I have here in omaha are one of a kind. You all have been such wonderful support for years and years of my life. I couldn't ask for better friends.

Someday I'll return. And we'll all rage once again.

Also to let you know, I created this blog solely for everyone at home in omaha to see what I'm doing, and where my adventures into becoming a flight attendant take me. So keep checking back, I'm sure I'll have some wild stories to tell.
